Literature Text

Have you ever listened to the wind as it dances around you, carrying a sweet scent with it? It'll hold you close, embrace you even. At the same time it caresses your face, whispers softly in your ear, and lifts your soul, filling you with desire for the one thing you absolutely cannot have as a human being. You reach high, perhaps climb a tree and jump off a branch, but usually just look up at the clear blue sky as you feel such a great pressure on your shoulders it feels as though you may collapse in pain. Your desire crushes your heart and rips your soul to shreds, as you watch your favorite bird fly higher than you ever can. You try your damnedest to look away, to suppress the emotion, but you can't, you never can. It all happens in that single instant, you fall in love, she forgets you, your heart breaks, your dreams are crushed, and you turn around and step inside the house with a bittersweet emotion that you'll never be rid of, whenever the wind sighs.
Scribbled it down before I forgot it... Had it in my head as a passing thought earlier today, and had a bit of a moment. It was written with a female in mind, so I hope that much came across. It's got the whole "unrequited love" feeling about it, and it holds within it a desire that can never be fulfilled.
